My idea behind the 01o project was to start with an extremely simple sound source, then create a complex routing structure for it with various types of signal processing. Different branches are fed back into themselves via attenuable sends to create controllable feedback loops.
Fun times.
01o #2.5 – Pure PT
It may not seem like much, but this one is particularly fascinating to me. It has no root sound, but rather relies on the self-noise of Pro Tools software to start it’s feedback loops. You’re listening to nothing but the processed Pro Tools software itself.

01o #2 – “Moon Soup”
Almost pure feedback loops on this one except for the infinite delay pulse and the reverb trail of original sound source occasionally sneaking through. Makes for kind of a bizarre, hypnotic listen.
